Read our Rockin Body reviews and find out!

Rockin Body – What is it?

Rockin Body is a home based Beachbody fitness program that is designed to help you get fit and lose weight through dance moves.  The concept of including dance moves and fun music into a workout is nothing new; however, Shaun T. has discovered a way to combine cardio and strength training into these dance moves creating a high calorie burning workout.

Rockin Body – What’s Included?

Here’s what’s included in the package:

  • 5 Workouts
  • My Quickstart Guide
  • Never “Diet” Again Guide
  • 24/7 Online Support

Rockin Body – The Program

The Rockin Body program comes complete with workouts, a nutrition plan, a workout calendar, and online support, all of which are essential for healthy weight loss success.

The 5 workouts plus 2 bonus routines actually come on two DVDs.   The individual workouts are all less than an hour.

  1. Mark, Move & Groove (15 minutes) – Features Shaun T’s Mark It and Move It technique.
  2. Party Express (25 minutes) – This one is great when you are in a rush, but still want to get a good workout in.
  3. Rock It Out (45 minutes) – This is a more difficult program.  It includes strength routines for your entire body plus boosts your metabolism.
  4. Disco Groove (35 minutes) – This one will get your calories burning.
  5. Shaun T’s Dance Party (45 minutes) – This is a bit longer, but you won’t feel like it because of the fun songs, such as:  “Holiday” and “Don’t Stop ‘til you get Enough.”
  6. Hard-Core Abs (10 minutes) – This is a bonus workout showing you how Shaun T got his hard-core abs.
  7. Booty Time (30 minutes) – This one is also a bonus and it focuses on your buns, hips, and abs.

Nutrition Plan

The nutrition plan is not to be considered a diet because it is not intended to be a temporary fix.  It is designed to help you change your lifestyle permanently.   While working out on a regular basis is a great start to leading a healthy life, what you put into your body is equally important.

Many of the processed foods that are so readily available today contain ingredients that are toxic to your body.  These toxins build up leading to many of the health issues people suffer from today.

Supplements are also extremely important.  You will find many highly effective and tasty supplements on the Beachbody website.  Replenishing your body’s nutrients is essential after an intense workout.

Workout Calendar

The workout calendar is a 4 week program designed to help you lose weight and get fit as quickly as possible.   While time may not permit you to follow the calendar exactly, do not give up.  Just try to do your best.   Substitute a smaller program for that day and try to fit the longer one in on another day.

Rockin Body Pros/Cons

This workout definitely targets the areas that generally cause people to give up, which are time and boredom.  This program is definitely not boring with the fun songs and dance moves integrated throughout.  Because the routines vary in minutes, you can choose one that will best fit into your schedule.

However, don’t be fooled into thinking just because it’s fun that it is easy.   The reason this program is so successful is because Shaun T. has been able to incorporate strength training and cardio exercises within the program.

It is not intended for people who have joint issues or any other medical disabilities where you would not be able to perform hard core exercises.   There is constant twisting involved, which could be hard on your joints.

Bottom Line

While it is fun, Rockin Body is tough.  Be prepared to work during those few minutes.  You can expect to do 60 pushups, arm pulses, and core exercises.  You will definitely feel the burn of those 1,500 calories a day the website claims can happen.

The Beachbody website offer is $19.95 plus 7.95 S&H.  This is a 75% discount off of the original price.  Be aware that you will get a 30-day free VIP access trial to the Team Beachbody Online Support Club.  After the 30 days, your credit card will be billed $38.87 quarterly.  You can cancel at anytime.

There is a 30 day money back guarantee.  Now is the time to see if you can dance your way to slim with Rockin Body before the discount price disappears.

I know this cardiovascular workout is good for my heart, but is it challenging enough to help me achieve my goal for six pack abs?

I was skeptical at first because I thought this would be a womens workout instead of mens. But after looking at reviews, I decided to give it a try. It actually focuses on the upper, lower abs and obliques but you will also get a good workout on your legs and hips.

I found out that the dance movements make it a lot easier to sculpt this area. The routine is not just a dance, but is completely targeted on the specific muscles needed to help me get that six pack. There is no doubt you will be sweating after you do the workout.

I am not there yet, but I definitely am starting to develop definition. Hang in there, it takes a while to get that six pack!

Does Shaun T recommend any specific recipes and/or meals in the diet book?

    • Garrett 27 September 2012 at 12:51 pm Permalink

Yes. Shaun T does share many of his favorite snack and meal recipes. You will be grocery shopping for natural foods that you may already be buying for your kitchen. The title of the book is Never Diet Again. You are not supposed to feel like your are dieting.

Instead, the book focuses on showing you how to eat properly for a healthy body encouraging you to make better choices. When you do not call it a diet, you do not feel like you are being deprived.

This feeling of deprivation tends to be the one obstacle that generally leads to failure. Eating better increases energy, so you will feel amazing during and after you work out to Rockin Body.

Shaun T is a good motivator. But, I didn’t get the results I expected to get and I followed the regimen to the letter.

I have to admit I lost “a few” pounds but not enough to my satisfaction.

I’m more flexible though and that’s a good thing. Moreover, I enjoyed the dancing too. Too bad there isn’t a sequel to this workout.

Sometimes you may not get results right away, especially if you cannot start off doing his work outs at advanced levels. If you do the work out at a beginner level and are barely moving, jumping, twisting, etc. you will not see as great of results as quickly. I’m doing Weight Watchers and just finished the first 4 weeks starting at an intermediate level and ending at an advanced level. I can feel the difference in my energy level and am working out much harder now with more jumps, etc. I’m going to do it again and I know I’ll see even better results. I’m down 38 lbs right now and ready to do this!
